My Anthology

For the last 2 weeks we have been learning about Limericks and Anthologys. Mr Breachs whole literacy class had to make an anthology and call it there name and anthology. For an example : Chloe's Anthology.  Our task was to make 2 or more limericks that we made. Find 5 or more poems from the sites he gaves us. Link will be at the end. For the experts ( That finished everything ) they have to write 2 - 3 more poems about The Rain. Here is my Anthology that I have made....

Mars Habitat

In Reading last term, my reading group and I were learing about " Becomeing a martion". I learnt that a martion is were you live on mars. Our activity was to make a mars Habitat. This is how my one turned out.

Anzac Day

Today we have been learing about world war 1. Our Teacher Mr Breach handed us out an item from a box. Mr breach gave us a link for the site to find our item and we had to read the story that was there. For most items there were a link to a story. 

The Door in the Wall

In Literacy I have been learing about using wow words in my writing. We looked at a piture and thought crtiically about it. We used lots of reflective quetions to think about the pitcure. What I thought was challenging was trying to get it finished by today and I got it done yesterday.

Hinemoa & Tutanekai, Romeo and Juilet

Today we listened to a auto book called Hinemoa & Tutanekai. We have to write 3 questions for the characters in the story. Here are my 3 questions that I would ask the characters.

Hinemoa & Tutanekai

Today my teacher has asked me to blog about the story. Here are my words about the story.

Hinemoa & Tutanekai has been in love but there fathers do not agree. Hinemoa`s dad wanted to find her a husband so that means that Hinemoa can not find her own. Hinemoa had to swim all the way to where Tutanekai was. Tutanekai was worried that Hinemoa would not come so, he gave up looking for here. So he told his server do go and fetch him some water, so he did. When he got some Hinemoa asked to have it. Then suddenly she smashed the hue and the server went back running to tell Tutanekai what had happened. This whole story is all about love and how they do not get together.

Today our teacher said the we had to read a book about Romeo and Juilet.

I Think these are how they are similar
First: It was a love story
Second: Romeo Loved Juliet
Third: Romeo meet Juliet secretly
Fourth: They Married each other

So the love from Romeo & Juliet was placed in Verona, Italy where the two families took place one of the families where Montague and the other was the Capulet and the Parents or both clans have hated each other for a long time Romeo was an Montague and Juliet was a Capulet,    

 Romeo was a lover he was looking for love he like someone but she did not like him back so he left her because his cosine told him to leave her and the Benvolio was basically his best friend they encouraged him to stay away from her so he did.

Then there his friends invited him to a Capulet's party it was a costume party so Romeo's friends thought it would be cool to go to it they thought the Capulet's wouldn't find out so Romeo went with his cousin and friend to the Capulet's party Romeo thought that they might find out that they were Montague.

Old Capulet had a daughter that was Juliet, Capulet was hoping that Juliet will agree to marry Count Paris and he is excited to spend time with her at the party which of course is were Romeo and is friends are going.

Know when Romeo and his friends get to the party they were probably nervous because there not meant to be there exact they were not invited so they got in and Romeo's friends went to have fun while Romeo first saw Juliet walking down the left side of those two way stairs with Count Paris as Romeo smiled at Juliet then she smiled back at him then they talked when Paris was talking to Capulet it was love at first site Romeo was sad because it is Capulet's daughter so he was sad but he took the risk of falling in love with her

Romeo soon finds out she loves him too they talked threw the window the second time they meet the talked secretly that they were going to marry each other on secret. while the party was still on Romeo had to leave with his friends.

On the way home Tybalt is still angry that Montague came to the Capulet party so he challenges Romeo but he refuses to fight and then Mercutio agrees to fight Tybalt the Romeo tries to stop the fight by getting in the way Tybalt ends up stabbing Mercutio and then Romeo get's angry and kills Tybalt with a pounding strike and then he makes it home fast home.


Juliet get's sad to hear that her cousin's death and because Romeo has too leave Verona She has another problem too, Her father is going to force her to marry Count Paris. She ends up getting advice from Friar Lawrence Juliet gets poison from Friar Lawrence  and drinks it she ends up getting she is just in a paralyses conciseness that means that she is in deep sleep for about 40 minutes.

  Romeo returns to Verona with a poison he soon finds out that she is dead but she is not dead but Lawrence could not get the message to Romeo so he ends up drinking to poison and he dies then Juliet wakes up and see's that Romeo is dead so she crabs his dagger and stabbed her self.

A tragedy stopped the war Between the Montague'sand the Capulet's because they saw Romeo and Juliet lying down next to each other.

Alarm Call

Alarm Call

“Is this a white soft marshmallow on this little spotted pillow?”  Said the Monster.  ”It looks so yummy to eat.  I wonder why it has legs on it and why has it got a smile?” He said when he was looking right at the cute Fluff ball thing.  He was going to crab it but suddenly the marshmallow moved.”  That's no marshmallow that is a kitten. I am not going to eat a tiny, small kitten because it will get hair in my throat.”

There was a Monster and a cute fluffy kitten just like a marshmallow.   This troll looks like a wicked, angry monster that is like 100 years old and never been found for some reason.  He has a big bushy beard that has not been brushed for ever. The old yucky thing has long finger nails that needs to be clipped really badly.  This monster has green skin with dark pink warts that need to be burnt off.  There is a kitten that is sleeping peacefully just like sleeping beauty.

The cute kitten had a wee smile on her as if she was dreaming about some delicious meat.

While the monster was creeping around the kitten it moved from sleeping to scare position.

The Monster bent down with his green warty hands and scooped up the little fuzzball.

I can smell the freshness from just like outside.

Day 5 in Traviling

This week it is the 5 day and we are doing a learing jorney. For our first activity we had to write about 8-10b sentences after what happend when your group had left you and you were alone. For teh secound activity we had to do a famous person and you have to say when they were born 2 facts about them how did they become a famoyus. Day 4 of going to New Zealand

This week we have been exploring New Zealand. Today we are swimmimg with the sharks. There are lots of activitys to do. For teh first activity we had to write things and go on this site to write down all the things they did to try and save the whales. For the Bonuns activity we had to say if we should bann fishing in farewell spit or stop doing it? I cosse t bann it so nothing happens to all the beutiful fish. New Zealand Visit!!

This week in litercay we have been learing about New Zealand. We had to go on our site link and go to the first doc that is there and read what it says. For the secound day we had to learn about Laura Deeker and her sailing that she does. Our activity was to cuduct soemone on there outdoors or land things that they like doing. I chosse Lucy. She had chossen Biking,Swimming,Hockey,Climbing Trees and Swimming in the Sea.

Coconut Rasin Bliss Balls

Walt-To describe using adejectives and simmeiles.

For the last week we have been learing a bout bread.My literacy teacher Mrs McG (Mrs Mc Gunninity) Rolled some Coconut Rasin Bliss Balls so that we can eat them.First she put all the ingerdendits in 2 bowls.We had a blender to mix all the ingerdents.When all the Ingertents where mixed.My teacher 

 

 

 

Coconut Raisin Bliss Balls

The balls looked like a new oaty planet with crumbled rocks on it.They looked like mud balls with rotten walnuts.They smelt like chocolate with smashed raisins on the top.The balls smelt like a coconut pudding with very strong coco on the top.They tasted oaty and strong.They were As tasty as a hot chocolate.I could hear the blender going noisy like road works.There was another blender going and it was so rough.The balls felt soft and bumpy.I was so relieved that it was so crumbly and crumbly.
