CIP Blog Post

I have chosen to do this blog post off a chart that our teacher has put together for us. Its pretty much a 3x3 bingo board and what we have to do is we have to complete 3 tasks to finish.

What I hope to do this term in CIP:

I hope to do a lot of kindness themed things as you would get kindness back. I hope to do something like going out of school and making a card to a company close to our school. I would also like it if we could do something for the teachers that teach the older kids or even the tech teachers as they do a lot just like our homeroom teachers and Hurumanu teachers. Because they are tech teachers and they do wood work, soft materials, food etc. Maybe we could create something that they teach. For example the food tech teacher, we could cook, make or even bake something as a thank you for teaching the classes.

If you got to choose what kindness activity you would want to do and its around your school, what would you choose?

CIP

Today for CIP we are finishing off what we have done last week. We also got a message from Anton encouraging us with our community impact projects. I was shocked as one of the All Blacks players had some time to actually send through a video. Mrs Shehata was amazed with what Anton said. To be honest the whole class was amazed. This is the clip that Anton sent...

Here is mine and Asenas card....

All Blacks Activity

Today for CIP we were making an activity about the All Blacks. What we had to do was we had to write down what we already knew about the all blacks, what we wanted to know and what we found out. To get our answers we had to do some research.

To get out to Interval we needed at least 2 points in each box, I had 5 in each box so I went out to morning tea.

This is my activity that I created and this is what I have to show...

Mums Letter - CIP

Today in CIP we have been doing some letter writing. I have finished one for my Mum as she is special to me and I am grateful for what she does. I can't show you a screenshot as its quit personal and I hope you guys can understand why I can't show you.

I choose my Mum as she means everything to me and I could not go 2 - 5 days without her. I also would never forget her and I will never replace her with someone else.

Who would you write a letter to????

Animation about kindness

Today for CIP we are learning to show kindness to others and you can help others, even smile it can spread the kindness around. If you don't know what I mean here is a link to the video... Link

Sometimes a smile can mean something big, a compliment and much more. Anything you say that is nice like, You look pretty today, or maybe can I help you. Things like that make a difference to others and make others feel good.

I made an animation about a girl who is showing kindness by complimenting people/objects have a look.....

How could you make a difference to help others?

CIP - Comunity Imapct Projects

This term for Comunity Impact Projects we are learning to give kindness to others.

We also have different passions that others could do such as Ambassadors, Dance, Singing, Rugby Academy, Gym Sports, Health Leaders etc.

At CIP when others don't have any passions on they have been creating, Cards, Gratitude letters, Needs vs Wants posters and even more. For the Kindness we were doing Kindness Boomerang, Colouring competition, Making sandwiches, and cards, some people even went to Elderly Day Care in Hornby.

Next term I want to go to the Elderly Daycare and help the Elderly and I also want to make some art to bring down to them as that would be an act of Kindness I think, anyways I love being creative and that's why I want to do art next as a passion or in Comunity Impact Projects.

I would like some opinions on what you would do next term for a passion if you chose one or you could choose a Comunity Impact Project idea???

Colouring Competition - Community Impact Projects

Today, P1 we were talking about some colouring competitions. For some people, it makes them calm for colouring.

I like colouring and Drawing. We decided that they should be for 5 -  15 yrs old. We discussed that we should hand them out to the Warehouse, Toyworld, Pak 'n' save as the customers when buying or looking at something when they go out or in they could pick up a colouring competition for their children. We are going to get the entries from South Hornby, Gilberthorpes, Hornby Primary, St Bernedates school. The competition would have to be in my 2 weeks.

We could organize this by showing posters around the mall, on posts, and public places. This would give people a good idea that we are doing a colouring competition. I decided that I was going to do it about the pollution and Rubbish that is around our environment.

We could ask for SHS, Gilberthorpes, HPS, St Bernedates for help as well as I'm assuming they have amazing ideas.

I would like some feedback on making sense and ideas for the colouring, please.

Have a great day!
